Amber update for both 520 & 720 is available now. I am at present updating my Lumia 720 :). Looks like it will take atleast 30mins for updating.

    UPDATE:

A mysterious update has been rolled out by NOKIA. The update came two days back, and I just installed it now.

It's just a firmware update, the firmware has been updated from xxxx.xxxx.1326.2001 to xxxx.xxxx.1326.2009.

Improvements: The touch response is lightning quick now!!! Will update on battery performance soon.

Btw, mine is L920. Any guys out here using L920???

Though am using the 920, the very first day L925 was launched here in India, I did check it out. Thought of upgrading, but didn't do so.

    - Lighter and slimmer than L920.
    - AMOLED display, the brighter colors like red, are a ''little'' more sharp & bright than in L920. You won't notice it unless you check both together.
    - Better battery than L920. As L920 stands for almost a day, under medium usage, I assume, L925 shouldn't give you any trouble with battery life.
    - Has two extra floating lenses when compared with L920. Through AMBER update, all L920, 925 & 1020 have the same camera algorithm.

Rest all, are same as L920. But do note that L925 has only 16GB, of which I think 14 would be accessible. No expandable memory. If you are comfortable with 14GB, just go with L925; if not, get the 920, provided you are comfortable with what many call a ''heavy-weight''! The price difference between both is roughly around 1.5K.

Good discount is going on now at Nokia. I think you can seal the deal at ~28K, with few accessories too.

As I personally didn't like the camera bump in L925, and the lesser storage space, I didn't upgrade my L920. Though I enjoy every bit of L920, I seriously regret for getting it @ Rs. 38,500! :sadblue

Do check L1020, but again that has a larger Camera bump, but you do get 2GB RAM and a better battery than L925.

Only thing I didn't like about L 925 is the Camera bump. Otherwise I love it.

I have quit the Samsung some months back. Now time has come to quit Android. :D

The new glance screen app has been released by NOKIA! It's still a beta version. One word, it's ''Awesome''!!!

One can now set any pic as glance screen background!

    Here's a screenshot!

So looks like finally the 'vibration' of all WP is no longer bothering you! & that's great! :p

One more thing I would like to add, is that L925 didn't feel as sturdy as L920. I did once drop my 920, screen facing down, from a height of 3 feet directly to the barren floor, luckily nothing happened!

Just check both L920 & L925 together & then decide.

I like the looks of L925 very much. The camera hump is not that prominent, yet good looking. The camera is awesome too.

Check out my new glance screen on my Lumia 720.

For the love of Fiat ;)
