Who has gained in the FIAT-TATA jv??

    As per my opinion, TATA gained more then FIAT.
    Because TATA is unable to produce worldclass engines like FIAT.

    So TATA got advantage of Saffire 1.4 90 HP & Quadrajet 90 in the Manza

    & Vista quadrajet & 1.2 saffire.
    Because of worldclass FIAT engine, sales of Vista & Manza is survived in cut-throat competition

    Yes, but without the JV, we wouldn't even be seeing these Puntos and Lineas. TFI itself wouldn't have come to existence. ::D

    If not Fiat, Tata could have easily found a lot of engine suppliers. But if not Tata, Fiat wouldn't have become what it is now.
    Which other company can offer so many ASS centres in India?

    ya tata has gained more from the JV. they have been milking Fiat. Fiat India needs to address this. i think once Fiat brings a volume car in 3-5 lakhs segment it shud be more even. all the niggling issues of the car and short comings of JV has to ironed out thick and fast.

    Hi,

    IMO we Fiat Fans have gained more than TATA or FIAT because without this TATA-FIAT JV how many of us, including me, would have gone for FIAT car, honestly I would have bought a safari base model or a xylo or the most probable choices would be DZire or VERNA.
