I am planning on doing the PRI of the car - Oct 2010 BNW T-Jet. Apart from body rust, electricals and Odo reading, is there anything else specific that I need to look for?

Thanks for all the inputs and support everybody. Went to the dealer yard at Nelamangala, just outside Bangalore and did a thorough PRI of the BNW T-Jet. Here are some pics.

I got the car hoisted up and checked the under body. No rust :p

Noticed only 2 minor issues - a small black dot on the front bumper - looks like the paint got chipped off. The size of a mustard :D (Try spotting it in the pic). The inner RVM was loose and shaking. Dealer agreed to get both issues fixed. The T-Jet has Appolo Accelre as OE and I am somewhat pleased that it does not have GY.

    The cost break up:

    Ex-Showroom - 898016.00
    Road Tax - 139552.00
    Regn. 5250.00
    Extd. Warranty 5500.00
    -------------
    Total 1048318.00

    Discounts -

    Gift Cheque - 125000.00
    Exchange Bonus - 100000.00
    Free Insurance - 32778.00
    ------------
    Total - 257778.00

    OTR = 790540.00

Additional friendship discount ;) reducing the OTR further. Sorry, promised not to reveal the exact amount.

Paperwork done. Signed the dotted line. Expecting delivery on Saturday or next Monday.

    Cheers,

    Rajan

The power socket/accessory socket should be closed with a rubber lid (like in newer FIAT Punto/Linea). An open socket like this looks a bit odd. You can also buy an OEM FIAT Cigar lighter (if it is still available) for better cosmetics. Other than that, the car is looking perfect.
  6. Nice deal!! Congrats!

Linea is one car you would fall in love again and again. No matter how many times you have seen the same linea you will fall in love once again on seeing another :)
  7. Congrats Rajan Sir and nice hot deal Sir.

@PatchyBoy, Just a couple of minor issues that can be immediately fixed by dealer:
    - the rubber cap/cover for the power socket near the dash (pic 1) is missing. Ask dealer to provide the same
    - plastic cover for covering red wires connected to the battery is missing

Apart from these car appears to be in good condition. Congrats and welcome to the club!!
