Thanks. Should try with them once I am back. I am thinking about getting ZLO's for my Linea.
ok guys, i need your help on this one. i have highlighted the wheel misalignment issue on my mjd 2-3 times at TASS who while returning the car told me that its taken care of but even today after almost 6 months since my 2nd service my car tends to swing to the left on a straight patch. i realise this only when i am at speed of 60 and more. its not impacting my ride quality but i get concerned when i reach out to a puncture wala who while fixing my puncture tell me that my tyre is getting used on the inside more than the outside. on physical inspection i dont find any difference but i take that he is an expert in tyres and can know more than me.
i got a new GC kit installed last saturday and thought TASS will look into the wheel alignment part specially when i asked him to look into it but..... alas i dont think they did anything about it. car still inching to the left. as i said, its not that bad but am still worried (n i think i must be) ..
what i want to know is if anyone of you face this problem and could someone recommend a good (and i mean a real good) wheel alignment center in Mumbai. I stay in Marol which is in Andheri East so the close the better. i think its time to reach out to the specialists than TASS. any pointers would be appreciated. Also what is the best tyre pressure for a 1.3 mjd 2010 model. as per the sticker on the door it says 36 for 4 passengers which i feel i more.
thanks in advance.
Take you car to any of these guys..

Btw, spoke to Tensingh this morning and he says that the wheel alignment and balancing equipment at TAFE is in order now. He also mentioned that they would charge only for balancing (560 for 4 wheels) and 0 for alignment.

Do the balancing and alignment with TAFE with your eyes closed. They have solved most of the alignment issues in my car which the outside shops were not able to solve.
Please suggest a good shop for wheel balancing and alignment in Bangalore.
TASS guy told 2012 Punto has different software than 2009 punto, is it true ? As per my understanding there is no different software for punto 2012 models.
yep!!! the readings for 2012 and 2009 are quite different due to the increased Ground clearance of 2012 models. Ask the technician to select the vehicle as punto 2012 instead of punto 2009 in his computer. The Tyre mechanic nearby my home doesn't have 2012 punto in the list as his software is old.
Are you sure? I fail to understand how the alignment would differ when only the ride height/ground clearance is different.
If this is the case, how do the different variants of Punto namely 1.2 petrol, 1.4 petrol, 1.3 diesel which have different tyre sizes and GCs have the same alignment data?
Another thought, what if I upsize or change the profile of my tyre? The alignment data is stil the same.

I've enquired in couple of shops and in the list it shows only 'Punto 2009' and they say they have the latest update.
Prerana Motors guy told it is same for all puntos where as Concorde Motors told its different
appreciate if anybody can confirm on this and looking forward for some shop reference in Bangalore
I stay at Chakala, Andheri east. Even i gotta get balancing done for my linea. The sa @ tass worli told me that there is some left pulling and he said its better to get it done outside. I have seen a couple of tire shops on the way to worli ( i think one is premji's michlin franchise not too sure) please keep us informed if u find a good place to do the allignment btw dad had called fiat pune when we just took delivery of the car they recomended that we fill 33 in all four tires the car is 3.5 years old and that 33 is all that we fill
