Is it possible to put 225/45 R15 OR R16 on OEM alloy wheel of punto without any modifications , I think stock alloy is 6 inch wide . Have seen 225/45 R16 parked in our street , i think car suspension is lifted to accomodate those as it looked elevated clearly , they look goog on punt's big chasis . So how much upgrade is possible on this OEM alloy .

if you go for 225 it will badly impact your car pickup and your steering will become hard. may be you least concerned about mileage which will get reduced too.
Another thing you have to worry about it may hit suspension if you go for 16 inch wheels.

If you passinate about Tyre width and looks you can go for 205/60R15, you have this size available in Yokohama ES100(sports version) and Good Year Assurance (Armor Grip).
which is rear size available in market. you get 205/55R15 in Yokohama S drive. I did some research on this as I have upgraded my Linea wheels to 205/60R15.

    thanks,
    ram.

No matter how noisy S drives are but they just give you so much grip that you forget everything else
