It would be nice to have a short title or description of the pictures even if you are not able to write a travelogue. :)

@ramjn Sure, I meant to do the same but then fell asleep.

    So, here goes:

My parents have come down to Bangalore and so we decided it is time to stretch Odin, get away from Bangalore and enjoy nature in it's full glory. After a lot of arguments and convincing mom that my car is better than a taxi :p and I drive better than a taxi driver, we finally settled in on Wayanad.

Wayanad is close to Bangalore, has a spectacular route touching the Nagarhole wild life sanctuary and the weather is perfect. I personally love the monsoon when everything is green and in full bloom.

Total drive : 768.1 Km (including the drive in Wayanad)
Visited two places : Banasura Dam and the Edakal caves.

Picture 1: On the way from the car parking to the Banasura Dam (some 100 meters)
Picture's 2 to 6: Pictures around the Banasura Dam (we were a little early, there were just 1 or 2 families and it was quiet, serene and beautiful)
Picture 7: view from the top of Edakkal caves
Picture 8: A view of the road inside the Nagarhole forest
Picture 9: On the way back to Bangalore - close to Kabini

    The route followed was:
Bangalore- Mysore-Handpost-Bavali-Mananthavady (goggle maps was 100% accurate)
