    Thanks Deepak!
You can talk to Shakthivel who is the CRM there, very helpful guy. As far as I know, they are good overall. I have been there only once, so can't point specific names on who is good.

How many times have you cleaned the car, taken it out for a spin and it rained heavily undoing all your efforts?!

It has happened many times to me. But here is a slightly different version

Yesterday, I cleaned the car for couple of hours as there was a Fiatians meet today. After cleaning it, my wife wanted to go out for some shopping. Since it was cloudy and knowing my bad luck of clouds opening up when I have just cleaned the car, we decided to postpone the shopping trip.

And within few minutes, it started raining heavily and we were happy that we didn't go out. But unfortunately the drain water pipe joints above my parking gave way in the heavy rains and the water started pouring on my car.
I went by chance to check on my car and saw my clean car getting a dirty rain bath. My initial reaction was to move the car out as soon as possible and I didn't even think of taking a pic. Here is a pic taken after moving the car to a different parking slot.

So, did the second round of cleaning again. Murphy's law in action! what shouldn't happen will happen anyways!

Plan was to have breakfast and then proceed for GoKarting @ Speedway, Mysore Road.

My elder one behind the wheels for the first time. He really did a good job.

@arun_josie, im planning to change my stock punto 195 60 tyres. Im considering below choices

    1 pref) Michelin Primacy 3st
2 pref) BS Turanzo Er 60
    3 pref) MRF Zlo

Many people say P3ST soft side wall doesnt withstand Indian potholes, rough roads. Could you pl suggest.

I mainly 70% city drive and 30% highways

My P3ST is currently at 55K Kms and I am very happy with it. I have taken it in all kind of roads and have no complaints at all.

    Bangalore - Nagercoil - Yercaud - Bangalore:

During the recent drive, while returning from Nagercoil, we took an impromptu detour via Yercaud, Harur, Karimangalam. It was really fun with some nice twisty roads till yercaud, then some narrow twisty roads through forest area, then some nice 2L state highway and joined the 4L towards bangalore at Karimangalam. 80% of the roads were really good and we were happy with this detour. The stop at Yercaud was just 10 mins.

    Here are few pics,

@arun_josie I had found you have carried out timing belt change in 60K. Is it the new type of chain which has life for another 90k KMs?

    Hi @arun_josie
Keep mile munching miles like this and to say the least your car looks still new even after 89,000 Kms. Any advice to keep the car scratch-free is awaited.

    Thanks

    Thanks CSR!
    • I don't give my car to these daily car wash guys.
    • I clean it my self once in a month and dust it whenever its required.
    • It has been detailed couple of times, once at 3M when the car was new and once by a friend of mine.
    • If the car is very very dirty, then I take it to the near by water wash guy.
    • Interior cleaning was done once at 3M
    Nothing much.

Thanks for your kind words, guys!

Nope, it was the old one. So, I will have change this one by 1,20,000 Kms.
