Is it necessary to do an under body coating on linea?
i dont think so, i believe Fiat already does a coating on the underbody from factory.
Ya its provided from the factory itself, that too of good quality,no cost cutting done there....
I dont think it will serve any purpose either.. I have got it done myself and every 2 months i just check the under body there is hardly any impact , if driven sensibly.
So dont waste money on this.
if you are staying nearby sea shore, then it is must.
i have done recently and i have planned to do it every year.
Is it the quality of coating is same for Punto as well?
+1.. if are living along the coast line or make regular travels to theses areas..then its a sensible investment.. still.. why not.. u have spent lakhs to purchase the cars.. why not spend a couple of 1000's more??!!??..
Why yearly.. correct me if i'm wrong..3m gives 5 year warranty..
i dont know about 3m and i have done it in TASS and they charged me 1700 INR and asked him about the brand he told me Bardahl, now i dont know whether bardahl also deals with paint stuff
below pic-underbody after one year of my punto
@Ganges: Looks like no protection is left on it at all...
Did you see a proper paint layer when you took the delivery after the Under Body Treatment???
@binoyn: IMHO, It is recommended to get the treatment done... even if you do not need it.. What's the harm in getting a protection???
that was due to the underbody scrapping while driving... it has got number of hits
