  1. Re: What tyres to buy??

V550 db is a good tyre mainly for good ride quality, with average performance and less tyre life..similar to mich primary lc..

try using 205/60/15 in michelin or yokohama or else 195/70/14 in goodyear assurance is quite good.

This is not noisy, but pretty comfortable.
Only thing I read is the tyre life might be little shorter, otherwise excellent tyre.

I was told that DB Decibels are very silent, comfortable and will last long but has very poor grip levels.
  5. Re: What tyres to buy??

Comfort comes at a price of less tyre life...35k easily should last but for me atleast 45k should be the tyre life..

35-40k life is what have been quoted for ES100 and S-drives. DB should definitely last for 45k atleast IMO.

Ofcourse, it depends on the driving style and road conditions aswell. And the most important thing is to duely get the roatation and alignment done. Negligence of which would definitely hamper tyre life.

After lot of search of Aftermarket alloys , finally i have installed Linea Rims + Appollo Accelere Tyres 195/60 R15
Factory fitted tyres JK served me exactly 45000 Kms

Just came from 250 Kms Drive- Though noisy, appollo's are far more better than 165/80 r14 Jk's. Ride quality was much better.

    Cost : Linea Rims - 1000 * 4 - 4000 Rs
    wheel caps - 352 * 4 - 1408 Rs
    Appollo Accelere tyres - 4600 * 4 - 18800 Rs
    Balancing - 300 Rs
    Total - --------
    24508 Rs

Is that a spot of oil I see underneath the car in the third picture? Please do check for leakages, just to sure.
