many including myself are using 195/65 R15 tyres without any problems. you can use any size with 'Rolling radius" less than or equal to 195/65 R15 without worrying. For calculating "Rolling radius" of various sizes, have a look at this thread: http://www.teamfiat.co.in/tyres-alloys/6712-how-change-tyre-size-affects-ground-clearance.html

As you can see, the 195/65/14 does not really have any advantage over the 185/70. Also considering the 185/70's are cheaper, this makes it a no brainer :)

Falken should be good as they have been taken over by Dunlop. Well that is my personal call....

Pirelli P6 in 195 60 R15 is available now for 5.5k at Millivisions, Bangalore. Should be a worthy replacement.

Another good option would be Yoko Earth. You get a Black&Decker car vacuum cleaner free with a set of Yoko Earth tyres. It runs off from the car's power outlet.

Does any body in forum have used Pirelli ? I have seen these tyres are used only in high-end cars .I have not heard of using them in Punto or Linea. As i am planning to change the tyres in short duration, Hence asking these questions.

I was zeroing on Yoko or Micheline. now will consider Pirelli also. Kindly provide your reviews on the same , if some one has used them.

    Thanks in advance.

On the same forum checkout Pirelli Cinturato P7 Pirelli CINTURATO P7 | the Pirelli CINTURATO P7 reviewed and rated | the online tyre guide

They are available now in India, being offered at snapdeal as well... Pirelli - P7 Cinturato - 195/65 R15 (91 V) - Tubeless (Set of 4 Tyres) - Buy | Snapdeal

They are comparable with Michelin Primacy 3 ST and may lasts longer then them.

  10. I would not read much into tire reviews as it is easy for any one to just key in some text.
I did not see any scientific way of testing tires.
