That was definately a bad experiance you had with ZLOs and it definately will not be the same for everyone using ZLOs. And the roads i drive on are definately one of the worst you'll find. You were unlucky to get a defective tyre but I have had a very good experiance with the ZLOs so i cant write anything negative about it right. I just wrote down my experiance with the ZLOs and hence my recommendation. And i believe the ZLOs are better then Acelere's anyday.

    Re: What tyres to buy??

Keeping aside the defective tyre issue, I would still not recommend ZLO to any Fiat owner.

Some inferences after this learning exercise.

    - ZLO is highly rated than what it actually deserves.
    - ACELERE is highly underrated than what it actually deserves.
    - ACELERE is much more silent than ZLO.
    - Braking is brilliant with ACELERE than ZLO.
    - Cornering ability is perfect with ACELERE than ZLO.
    - Getting better mileage with ACELERE than ZLO. Strange but true.
    - Overall, I am so happy to have got ACELERE again.

Agree with above on performance aspects of Acelere. They are pretty tough too.

My only longstanding gripe with them has been the extreme road noise. Otherwise, they are pretty good. Maybe the new gen Aceleres have been improved in this respect.

    Cheers.

After using ZLO for around 5k kms and switching over to Aceleres, I could feel miles of difference. I am guessing new Aceleres may be more silent.

I am using the ZLO on my Indigo CS for last 2 years plus and still good to go for another 2, and i am very satisfied with it. Not a single puncture till date. I am no expert on such matters but the ZLOs have served me well and at the end of it all that matters is satisfaction... which i truely am and wont shy away from recommending it.

deba, do you take your indigo at high speeds (120+) on sharp corners? Do you do crisp maneuvering/lane changes on highway in your indigo?

When I do this in my Linea, the performance of Acelere is superior and not comparable with ZLO.

I hope you got my point of why ZLOs are not a suit for Fiats.
