Changed all 4 tyres to Yokohama C drives
Pic and quick review
Hopefully the pic gives a sense of the profile (taken from HTC One, no digital zoom - pretty decent I think!)...
Also are mileage shots post new tires. This is for city driving, 60 kms daily for the last few days. Thanks to the glorious Bangalore weather, AC was almost never on. Must add, I travel during non-peak hours, so it only adds to the difference. Nevertheless, I saw an increase of at least 1-2 kmpl over the last set.
For perspective, a friend of mine runs stock and still churns out ~17 kmpl in city. Guess I am the driver I am!
About the tires, I couldn't be happier. The ride is comfortable, noise almost not there (speeds < 100 kmph) and takes on the potholes with no complaints. I havent scrapped the road yet, maybe the profile isn't too bad afterall... Definetly recommend the tyre and the shop. Co-ordinates below for interested TFIans
Thanks for the update as promised . Do post side profile pics. happy driving.
Kenda KR23 Komet Plus: [Personal opinion only]
My Previous tyres: Stock JK Tornodo, Yokahama C-Drives, Nankang NS2 Ultra.
Paid 3000 Rs per tyre for 195/60/R15 Kenda. Just wanted to see how these tyres are and did not had enough much of money to invest on branded tyres. These tyres turned out to be a big surprise for me. Silent, Grippy in both Dry and Wet conditions- a pure VFM. I felt them to be as good as C drives and even better than them in terms of road noise. After riding them for 1000 kms, i am just loving them even more. I did not review about these tyres before buying but majority of them who brought these seems to be surprised just like me..

Though i found some mixed reviews about the Yokohama ES100 i have finally decided to go for it for my new 15" alloys. Have ordered for it and will arrive in 2 days time @ Rs 4900 per piece. Though i have read that it has got a low thread life but even if it gives me around 25000kms i'll be satisfied, what i particularly like is the sporty looks of this tyre and the performance it will provide. Will post some pics when i install the tyres. Your views guys.

My linea now has Michelin stock size tires and I am loving it.
I have upgraded from 195/60-15 apollo stock tyres to 195/65-15 Michelin PLC. Now ride is smooth and noise free. I am using 34psi, which I find it best.
Changed 2 tires to Yoko C-drives. Good tires they are.
