    I have been running continental eco contact3 . I choose the tyre due to wet performance and also for the fact that the centre rib was the strongest of em all . The weakest was the Yokohama A drive . Someone else on the forum is running on Kenda tyres . He says the tyres are very good for a price of 3000 .

    Kenda, Nankang and Nexen are very good tyres but are underrated

    Any idea on ZLO thread rating? For XM2 i know it was 420, which means it can go upto 70k kms

    I believe TWI for ZLO is 320 similar to Goodyear GT3 but it will all depend on what terrain you drive.

    Experts,

    I got the following quote from 2 different dealers in bangalore. Please let me know if this is reasonable.

    Size 185/70 R14
    for punto dynamic (2012)

    1.ABC
    michellin xm2 - 5100
    yoko A- 4350
    Zlo - 4200
    Align & Balancing - 600

    2.XYZ
    Michellin energy XM2-> MRP 5483 -> Discount 5100 -> And their price 4850/-
    Yoko A drive -> 4100
    Bridgestone MY02 ->42250
    alignment- 950

    I almost thought of going with Zlo but I am told by one dealer that MRF uses Hard Component and this it can affect the Shocks of the car (Tyre will not at all absorb the impact). Need help to take a call here :)

    Tyre Life and Budget is the main criteria.

    Usage Pattern:
    once or twice in a month i go for long distance drives in highways, otherwise majorly in bangalore city traffic.

    Good tire size choice.

    Go for Yoko A-drives. Good VFM tires. I used them on the Palio prior to installing Kenda tires :D
