I wish FIAT brings these cars to India immediately for demo basis to all the dealer points in the country and showcase the capabililties of FIAT and make people yearn to possess those technologies.

This will be a much better way to demonstrate the cutting edge technology of FIAT instead of selling cars such as FIAT 500 which is hardly seen on the road and does not look value for the money.

If FIAT wants to salvage its position in India, the only way out is to offer sheer high tech products with quality, for Indian customers ,and those products will do what the Grande Punto did to FIAT when it was in the doldrums. The 1.3 mjd and the styling of the Punto was the reason for the phenomenal turnaround

Indian customers are no pushovers ,as the educated masses are increasing and travel abroad is becoming common and competitors are offering the latest world wide releases in India.

What do you mean by this?

All I am hoping for is that Fiat India first solve all the niggling issues in Punto and Linea. No new engine is needed till then. :cry:

@arun each and every vehicle have some or the other problem of its own. irrespective of brand and money paid by you. there is no such cars build with zero complaints. after all its a mechanical and electrical stuff. god created products only have lot of defects. only thing fiat can do is minimizing the existing problems in next production of cars. and these kind of developments keep happening and it should not be the problem to launch new products. things should run in a parallel not in serial.

i dont know how many people have bought 90HP punto but the sad thing is i didnt get a 90HP punto and linea T-Jet even for Test drive at Concorde motors in Mysore Road. i had been several times to them asking for test drive:-( and their reply was these cars have not come yet. once i said how come KHT motors give it for test drive and why not concorde? and the sales man made me sit in 90bhp linea and said it is not badged yet but its a T-Jet. after i took a test drive, i blasted him for misguiding me. then his superior came and told, another branch of concorde motors took it for the day and once it is back they will inform me, all these happened one week back but still i have not received a call from them. i give zero marks for tata fiat sales executives.

Unlike other car owners Fiat owners are more aware of technical stuffs which the dealers are not aware. Good that the dealer learned it the hard way.
