Here is couple of pics taken during PDI.
@FiatJay , why did you accept delivery if rubber bending on roof was not properly fitted??...go and esclate about this to your dealer!
Rubber beading issue in the pics above is a trivial issue and can be sorted out anytime without fuss. Why reject an otherwise healthy car that passed PDI and has "H" displayed on the Odo?
FiatJay- Nice pics. It will look awesome after getting washed and cleaned inside out.
Agree with PS.
Don't reject the car for the beading issue. My TJet too had this when i did my PDI and many cars in the stockyard had this issue.
The beading is stuck with a double sided tape and its only a DIY job. The dealer will fix it before delivery (if informed).
FIATJAY congratulations for 90HP Punto. Your Punto will look amazing after detailing
That rubber beading issue is rather common. Our Linea has it too , although to a lesser degree.
63kms are a bit on the higher side , but it should be fine.
Best of luck and congrats.
I think its because the dealer yard (poonamallee) to dealer's sales office (mount road) is ~25 kms. Add PDI rounds of another 5 kms to it. The rest is 33 kms which is fair enough.
Nice Pics, Congrats and have a happy and safe driving
That seems about right. Hoping the dealer drove wisely for those 25km's !
@ Fiat Jay
I've encircled a part of the pic you'd uploaded of the Punto center dash.
Can you confirm whether its just the protective plastic or whether the upper layer of the dashboard is chipped as can be observed in the second pic , i.e. of our Linea.
I saw such a chip in every car the dealer had in stock the day i took delivery. He said the cars are coming like this from the factory.
P.S. Posting again since the time limit to edit post had expired.
Fiat Jay first of all Congrats to You for the 90 HP,
This tiny things must have happened which fixing it on, Might be some tools must have brushed which fixing the music system, You will forget it all when you hold the steering wheel in your hand. but anyways just get it in the eyes of the dealer so that they are also aware. Any modifications planned????
