I checked quality by removing pipe of Common Rail. White Kerosene is there.

COCO bunks are also doing robbery & sucking our money. :A :A

Sales officers of COCO bunks are insane corrupted. Someone should file " Public-Litigation" in High Court.

today i checked the density of diesel at BP pump opp to RTO pune. the density was 826.7 kg m3.

so as per SIAM it should be between 820-850 so i think its pretty much ok.

    @Ital linea,

I too checked the density at a Shell pump and it was around 820+ . The person at the pump also told me that the density varies according to the temperature of the day, Density is more in the early morning. So it is better to fill early morning as you will get the full bang for your buck. So this is one other reason for better FE in winter.

Density display in Fuel dispensing machines is temp. corrected means it will display same reading at all temperatures.

Then shall it mean that we can follow the practical way by filling in the early morning and get a dense fuel while forgetting the display on the machine which shows the same reading throughout the day which BTW is not the real density ??
Correct me if my assumption is wrong.

I think it wont make much difference as Underground storage tanks are well insulated so temp of petrol doesn't change much all around the day. (Depends a lot upon location of tank)
Also if there is any difference in quantity dispensed we wouldn't benefit as we would have to drive to petrol pump early in the morning 6-7 AM if we do the same in day we can fill while going to office, college or anywhere you want to ::D
Any petrol pump owner or expert here to clear doubt. :anyone
Density shown on Fuel Pump is temp corrected to show reading @ 15 C

    To
All FIRE & T-Jet user friends,

A Domestic method to recognise adulteration in Petrol.

Wet your finger with petrol. Let it dry completely.

After drying, there should not be any white stain. See the image. My fingure has became white due to "Naptha"

Guess the bunk.............. ! it is COCO HP :A :shocked at post Waluj, Opp. Bajaj Auto, Aurangabad

What is Naptha ? Naptha is Liquid Napthaline. An example of Solid state of Napthaline is Napthaline Balls.

We use it for domestic purpose to protect our winter cloths. ::pP

Check the smell of finger, you will remember smell of Napthaline Balls.

Absolutely. That's Doctor Yashik saying it. So do listen to him.
