I own 2013 Linea Multijet, done 59000km, SA says timing belt noise is their, needs replacement. Also 2 years from purchase is not done. Advise, should it be replaced under extended warrenty?

It is better to replace otherwise in future if any kind of engine problem they will refuse extended warranty.

Gurjit ji .. You can claim it under Warranty / Extended Warranty as your car has not completed 60000Kms as well as 2 years.
But make sure that your car should not Cross 60k Kms when you claim for warranty.

Why have they charged your for 4L engine oil instead of 3.2L? For 3.2L, it comes around 1900/-.

They told me that when sump is opened for chain replacement, They need to put 4 ltrs of oil. Also the engine oil is brought from the store at FASS is loose in spare cans which is also suspicious. As a customer, we are helpless.

With Fiats new offer of 3 yrs /45000 kms free maintenance, I am sure will result in a good reduction in billing,as replacement suggestions will be kept on hold unless is is clear failure. Just peeking at the other side of offers:) Timing chain replacement under 60K kms is to be under warranty.

Why have they replaced water pump and aux belt tensioner if they were faulty should have been replaced FOC under standard warranty. I haven't changed water pump till now even once in 150k kms though had to change aux belt tensioner once at 120k kms.
Don't think claim for chain replacement would have been approved if sent 2k kms before scheduled replacement interval.
Timing chain in Fiat MJD is a problem area, I have changed it thrice till now have reduced oil changed interval to 5k-7k kms on normal CI 4 rated mineral oil (Mobil Delvac MX or Shell Rimula R4) to see if it increases timing chain life.
