Guys, lets stop this good for nothing discussion.

Good for you Enki, that you could achieve the impossible (what others over here think). And Good for you Jayadev, that you still love your car (though your posts seem otherwise).

There are many members claiming top speeds of 170kmph+, So majority wins.

On this note, please don't try to recreate the scenario of top speeds and try posting pictures on TFI, just to prove your point, boosting your egos.
Any high speed pic posted hereafter would be DELETED. So, better not spend your time and effort for the same.

Request all members to co-operate and stop discussing about high speeds.

Apologies Mod, Lost a bit of sanity, you are right. This speedy thing was not worth a topic but childish stuff.
Sometimes we misuse our liberty and freedom of speech on TFI.

I am just another member like you Brother. Later comes the additional responsibility of a Moderator. So please address me as Kiran or Brother. :)

All these days, we refer Fiats to Tanks. May be from now on, we can refer them to Submarines aswell. :D

@phew agreeing with you. forget about top speed debate.
My arguement is just based on just one thing that peak torque of 90hp is obtained at 2000rpm and it tapers abruptly after that. Means one have to rev hard. The very reason why 90HP require more gear shift than a75hp. In a sense 75hp scores better in overall power delivery.
From my experience 75hp is more fun to drive below 100kmph.
Best part of punto90hp is from 100-150 kmph .it does shoots. After 165kmph there is nothing left to brag or it may take ages to go beyond.either air is not enough or ecu limit the engine
I am just here to investigate. Not to badmouth my own love . period.

It's mind-bending and jaw tilting how Americans are mad about SUVs, Trucks and Cargo Minivans. They buy luxury class SUVs many folds more than Indians buy the F-Alto's and NoNo's. I feel giddy when i see SUV/Truck sales figures of Chrysler alone. Ford/GM sells even more than Chrysler. Chrysler have sold 60,000 RAM trucks last month, the lifestyle luxury truck. I am feeling sick:)!!!

Can you imagine 1,00,000 SUVs/month in the class of Toureaq/Q7 getting sold in India? Lol!!!
Chrysler alone have sold 16,000 of Jeep Grand Cherokee in only one month. There are even more high selling models like Ford Explorer, Chevrolet Equinox etc. etc.

They waste more than we actually buy... pity!!
