Yes. That should be absolutely possible. I will check with the guys here.
I am on the lookout for fresh setup for my Linea. Installed NB+ and it lived its life. Then upgraded both H1 and H7 to 100/90 Hella with Roots kit. But thrice the bulb blew off - the last occurrence as of yesterday evening on the way back from office. Not sure on the cause of these.
Now I am on what to upgrade :sadblue
Need good throw and visibility that the stocks. Suggestions welcome.
I am again started to think about the projectors. Thinking about Morimoto's. Still haven't decided. Let me see.
IMHO,spending 25k on headlights is just waste of money but again that me.
That is not my way. I prefer HID. Just was doing some search and found the following.
Looks promising. Need to do some more research.
Or how about this one?:confused
HID without Projectors will not be effective. Also, you need to get canbus Ballasts or else it will result in an error in your MID. And, try to avoid Chinese products.
HIDs without projectors is more of bling than utility.
You will be successful in blinding oncoming traffic, but unsuccessful in getting major improvement in beam throw and intensity.
Believe I gave the wrong links. Both are CAN-BUS Ballasts. At least that's what the description says. Corrected Links below.
But 4300K should not blind others a well as give better throw and visibility. Please correct if my understanding is wrong.
BTW any good installers in Chennai who can get this done?
Initially i put in Morimoto's, but its low beam was not very effective. Also Morimoto are basically China product. Look for FXR or Hella if you want a good Projector. I have FXR and they are really good.
@Ramesh: I belong to the league of H1/H7 90/100 with Roots kit from Privelege. Check with Subbu out there and he can help you out if you are still interested
