    Congratulations djdc1990. Wishing you a many more miles of safe driving ahead. Throwing of mud suggest only one thing, that some body is actually very jealous of your black beauty. So now it is in a real sense a neighbour's envy and an owners pride...:-D

    Yeah am doing that i myself wash my car even though my back gets sore the next morning. will eventually get used to it.

    haha nice . I hope he he does not get jealous to often or my i will soon have back problems. (washing the car kills my back). Pride parts makes me takes all the risks involved in owning this beast.

    Finally everything has been sorted out with the dealer but it took him 20 days for the work which would take only 2 hrs. I hope it improves : for the sake of fiat.

    Some .... All the neighbors envy us. 1 of the reason for buying this car.

    Just an update.
    Reached the showroom on 27 sept at 10:30 am and said the car is here and i won't leave until my work here is completed. They started making calls here and there and said the person who is fix the parking sensor is coming in 20 min. I said yeah right and i am supposed to believe that :evilsmile. 2 hours out and no one is there to do the job and i am playing all sorts of stupid games on my phone. I again asked him and he said the same thing . i told him u have a watch take a good look at it and tell me didn't you say the same thing 2 hours ago. so calls someone and starts abusing. and in 10 mins a person is there to do the job. (god bless India). the person fits the sensors. and i thought half the work is done now for the mud flaps.

    So again the waiting game "sir he is coming in 5 min." I said i am hungry now and have been here for 3 hours. You don't want me angry when i am hungry ... So he said ill go and get some someone.. And guess what he went out for lunch leaving the showroom deserted with just a tata guy doing some data entry on a computer. And I thought to my self he does not care about the showroom what can i expect for my car. totally hopeless.

    Then another sales guy comes at 1:30 pm to start his shift. (the showroom had no attendant for 20 mins) He thinks i am a customer and starts to talk. i said go and call this guy or its your head. He is baffled and calls him but his phone is switched off. Then that guy goes over to the desk appointed to him and leans back on the chair and foot on the table and starts to sleep. And i am like WTF.

    Now it's lunch time and i am dying of hunger. Then a customer comes in he approaches him to talk. the customer is inquiring about the recently launched linea classic model. the sales rep says he has no idea as they dont have the specification. The sales guy talks about the line at present and all the engines and all. then shuts up the customer looks at the car . then i approach the customer just to get rid of my boredom. I start talking to him in English. the sales rep is like i am talking in some foreign language. I explaind him about the car and offered him to take a look at my car cause he was going to buy the active variant. he had a look. then i explained him all the advantages of t-jet model and his mind shifted. Plus the loyalty/exchange bonus and his mouth started watering. All the things i said made him change his mind from basic linea classic to a t-jet in only 15 mins. Then he started talking money withe sales guy. He thought the t-jet was to costly for his budget then again i convinced him about the marginal diff. between petrol and jet for the price and what all advantages he would get. (this all thing were supposed to b done by the sales guy. I did almost 80% of his job except final pricing) Then that was it within 20 min i convinced a bank manager to buy a car worth 8.7 L who cane in looking for the cheapest deal of 6.6L. plus the sales guy said i was wrong in saying that t-jet has abs in it's active variant, i bought him the brochure and showed him . To save face it was a mis print. I said ok come i will show u in my car and in front of the customer i showed him the abs indicator. how can u sell something about which u dont know anything and one is correcting you , they jump on your face. being able to do that and make guy finalise the deal within 20 min is called sales man ship. I think i make a very good one.

    Then he left the showroom and gave him some advice about the dealership, etc.

    Now my work, i had my time pass. i told to get someone from the tata dealership and get it fixed. how much time would it take. he then said yes i will go and get him. i said i am coming with you. Then he said no and lame excuses. i insisted and finally i made him sit in my car and told him where to go and get it fixed now. finally he got some one from the tata dealership and the guy fixed it.

    Paper work i told him you directly talk with my father and i don't want to come in the line of fire.
