Thank you Cannonera..
Thanks for catching my car .
What an hangover it has been? Though I reached home on 15th, a 650 kms drive, the nostalgic feel hasn't diminished a bit till date. I am sure that this will remain so until the next meet.
Thanks God for giving me an opportunity to visit FIAT, and to have such a hangover/feel. Thanks again to the moderators, the FIAT and everyone who chipped in. Amogh, need I congratulate you again? I had congratulated you on the 14th morning itself, as I entered the FIAT factory. Yeh dil maangey more, MORE of visits and assurances between FIAT and the owners.
What a product/s FIAT has!!! Everyone has had a hassle-free and tireless to-and-fro long drives.
I did ask this question during lunch. It was a good discussion with Mr. Antonio for almost 3-4 minutes. He told me that the actual demand is not much and then asked from where I am. Learning that I'm from Ahmedabad, immediately he told that he has done the market survey and there is a demand for automatic transmission in Ahmedabad to the tune of about 10% of the total 4 wheelers in the city. As per Mr. Antonio, the country wide demand is about 3-5%. He told that definitely they are keeping this option open and may offer this option in future.
Am a little late in posting pictures from my side, returned to Bangalore only yesterday evening. Had continued from the factory to Shirdi, Ellora, Aurangabad, Ajanta and Hyderabad with a total distance of trip @ 2600+ KMs. Will upload Pictures from my side, some might be similar pictures :evilsmile
Big Thums up to all the mods, especially Amogh for making this such a grand success and to FIAT for showing a great hospitality. ::T :clapping
