Fiat India plant sees gathering of 600 car owners ::
Fiat India's plant at Ranjangaon near Pune in Maharashtra, saw a gathering of over 200 Fiat cars and more than 600 members of Team Fiat India from all over India. The 200 Fiat cars that had gathered, were driven drown by their respective owners from Indian cities of New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Trivandrum, Surat, Mangalore, Goa, Dehradun, Raipur, Udupi, Indore and Pune.
Fiat is all set to expand in Indian auto industry. They will be launching Jeep and Abarth brand by 2013. Under Jeep, Indian car buyers will get to see Wrangler and Grand Cherokee. Once launched Wrangler will compete with BMW X1 and Audi Q3 while Grand Cherokee will compete with Mercedes ML250, Audi Q5, BMW X3, and Volvo XC60.
The Italian car maker showed their state of the art plant and car manufacturing process to the gathered crowd of Fiat car owners. At the congregation, Enrico Atanasio, MD of FGAIPL, said," In our humble attempt to reward FIAT loyalists, we have made arrangements for more than 600 car owners from across India to visit our state of the art Ranjangaon facility so that they can witness firsthand the technological process and precision with which their beloved FIAT cars are manufactured. We are extremely excited today as this gives FIAT a strong opportunity for consumer connect and engagement by amalgamating these FIAT brand loyalists into the unique FIAT culture."

Pune, December 14, 2012: More than 600 FIAT car owners from across the country drove down to the automobile manufacturer's Ranjangaon plant in Pune in a historic event for FIAT Group Automobiles India Private Limited. More than 200 FIAT cars from New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Trivandrum, Surat, Mangalore, Goa, Dehradun, Raipur, Udupi, Indore and Pune assembled at the plant to visit the state of the art Ranjangaon facility.

Fiat enthusiasts were hosted by the company officials and were taken to Ranjangaon for a special visit to showcase the world class manufacturing plant which included the FPT (Fiat Power Train ) division. Audio- visual presentations of FIAT's global stable of cars and upcoming models were showcased to these enthusiasts and a short quiz was organized to reward the extremely well informed owners. At the event, the company also announced a national referral program by which "Team Fiat India" member's can avail exciting benefits and rewards on FIAT products and services.
A band of musicians kept these enthusiasts entertained and a lunch was hosted by FIAT.
