Dandeli - TFI Soth India Meet - 2013
Dandeli indeed would be a good choise right in the lap of nature. But one has to check if there is enough place to accomodate such number of people and cars at a time.
Best season to visit Dandeli is from October to May
More info can be found here DANDELI Weather, Temperature, Best Season, Dandeli Weather Forecast, Climate
Doodhsagar would be another interesting place to visit, near Dandeli.

Lets hear from everyone about the location!!
By the way Doodhsagar would be a treck from a nearby location as there seems to be no proper route to the waterfalls itselfs. In summer there could be possibility to hire 4X4 jeeps. Need to get more info on this (someone who already visited could help on this)!!
Too far away for me, if the place is finalised count me out :-(

I have been to Dandeli and it is a nice place! Lots of stuff to do. Forest trails, white water rafting, kayaking etc. And needless to say : awesome food
btw : where in Dandeli? Deciding the hotel / resort is going to be crucial.
Dandeli: The place offers a host of adventure sports including trekking, mountain biking, cycling, river rafting, canoeing and kayaking.
+++++1.. Yippie. Hurricane is IN.:dancing:dancing
some pics of the place would be appreciated... esp from those who have gone there !!
I have been to doodhsagar in 2009...in mid of rainy season... In summers main route is kept open so that JEEPS and other vehicles are allowed.
We went there by hiring bikes accompanied by PILOTS ( Biker riders ).... we went through narrow paths behind railway tracks.. It was awesome.
Here are some pics....I found only these in my Laptop
