    The purchase price for 4 tyres was 5200 x 4 = 20800 - 200 (old tyres 4 nos) = 20600/-. The dealer quoted 5400/- per tyre. I bought these tyres in may 14.

  2. For Kenda komet tyres you could try contacting muurugan tyres in JC road blr cell# 973-10-351-15. I had called once few months back for kenda (but havent purchased since i am not at blr)
    Just fyi only :)

Purchased Yoko A drive 195/60/R15 for my Linea. Price per tyre 5600 /-
Initial impression : Tyres are very soft but are somewhat noisy than I expected. Also I have a feeling they won't last long..

^^ Not sure which tyres you were on before A drives. I was using GT3s before I moved to A drives. I noted big difference in tyre noise levels. Yes, I agree its softer in nature compared to GT3s but nothing alarmingly soft to bring in a scare while high speed cornering. If maintained well (rotation, balancing & alignment at apt intervals), I have seen A drives last upto 40-50k kms easily.

For the price, its a true value for money tyres which offers a mix of comfort, handling and braking. Nothing extra ordinary in any of the areas. But it does the basic job well. Honestly speaking I never had great expectation from A Drives considering its price point. But have to say its performed much better than I thought. Its been @5-6k Kms till date on A Drives and tyres (thread) still look shop fresh; my earlier GT3 did have few wear & tear at around the same usage level. Am expecting it to last for at least 40k kms.

Btw, A Drives cost much lesser in Bangalore. (for a change, something is cheaper in Blore :p

What would be a good alternative to Goodyear NCT-5 Eagles for my Linea T-Jet ? Can some T-Jetters suggest better tyres they may have chosen ? My thoughts on NCT-5 is that they are tough but a bit noisy. Also, I am seeing a slightly higher level of wearing out at just 23K kms (70% city usage).

T-Jet size is 205/55 R16, in this size you have Michelin P3ST, but expect this to be very costly.

Other tyres you can look are Apollo Acelere or Bridgestone Turanza.

^^ Turanza would be a good option. I have it on my dad's car and would say its another VFM tyre like A Drives. In fact, a notch above A Drives.

What kind of tyres do you want? If noise is your only priority then nothing beats the Michelin Primacy 3st (Silence tuned). Otherwise there are options from Continental, Yokohama, Bridgestone.

Changed the tyres of my Punto (active) to MRF ZLO today (185/70 R14). Paid 3800 per tyre (from my limited search, the best price I could find from a brick and mortar shop). The tyres where not old stock - manufactured in 37th and 40th week of 2014.

This is a MRF Exclusive shop, and the shop currently has no alignment \ balancing facilities and he do not buy back old tyres. He said the alignment \ balancing facility will be up in another 6 months.

For the people who stays\works at Whitefield, this shop is easily accessible - around 3KM from Varthur lake.

    The Shop Details:

    KMK ShriKrishna Tyres
    Site no 223
    Gunjur Main Road
    Near KK Convent
    Mob: 9481888517, 9686773577 (Mahesh Kumar K)

PS: Sold my old tyres @ local puncture shop for 1000 rs (4 tyres, run 25K km).
