    Update :
I had replaced tyres on my Linea emotion from stock Goodyear to Yokohama A drive. Almost completed 4000 km now
I am not very happy with new tyres

    Few observations:
    1. Ride quality softer now
    2. Noise is less
    3. This tyres are strictly for good roads..
    4. Even smallest bump can be felt in car
    5. Better road grip but pain to drive on uneven roads
    6. I don't think these tyres will last more than 25000 km

p.s. One of the most irritating thing with this tyres is they make this 'cht-cht' noise when a small stone is stuck between the treads. It is loud and very annoying. Never faced this issue with earlier tyres.:grumpy:

Hi, I want to change tyre of punto 2012 dynamic - 165/80 R14,
    should I go for 15'' - 195/60 R15 or stick with 14'' - 185/70 R14.
Also what are the benefits by upgrading from 14'' to 15''???

Hi Ashish, first you have to tell us what you want from your tyres?

I think the benefits would be better stability, handling and looks but you will have to pay more.

    i m also looking for tyre change.....The GT3's have run 44k.
The option i am looking at are (195/60/R15) :
    Vredestian Sportrac 5 - Rs.5300
    Michelin p3st : Rs.5700

These are initial quotes. What other tyres can i consider in same budget.

my linea is about to touch 30000kms...but two tyres already worn out....44k is a good mileage...BTW for michelin the price is above 6000rs in cochin, atleast in the shops i enquired.

anybody has tried Kenda komet KR23? They are cheap and heard quite a few folks tried and they pleasantly surprised by the silent and comfort of it? I also enquired Michellin XM2 price as @sunswape absolutely loved and recommended, it is coming around 6K per tyre. is that reasonable?

@prashantgupta84 : The Primacy 3st has a lot of good reviews and Sportrac has one I know of. If you want to try something new you can try Vredestein. The other options could be the Bridgestone Turanza AR20, Continental Max Contact, the Pirelli P7 or the Yokohama Earth. I guess Primacy 3st would be the most expensive.

@vijai : I have not heard of any reviews about Kenda and would not suggest it. I think you can get a Michelin for less than 6000 in the 15" size. You can go through this thread for the prices. And there are many other good brands to choose from depending on what you want from your tyre.

I am looking for very minimal tyre noise, comfort and should last atleast 35- 40K. That's where @sunswape mentioned XM2. Any good tyre shops in coimbatore where I can get XM2 less than 6K?
