My colleague is selling below items frm his old car. Since he brought new Sunny.

Will this sounds good with OEM?
And any approximate quote? He left to me for price quote.

 

Guys EVO satya is quoting 5-6k just for installation that includes converter(RC out)+wiring kit+foam damping.....1200 for 4doors damping

Suni, I have paid 5500 Rs for installation,wiringkit alone during jan 2013. I feel 6k given to you is ok price as it gives door damping also.

 

Friends finally day has arrived for Punto’s (Dynamic) stock speaker up gradation. Last six months I was listening them but somehow I was not happy with them. My requirement was not of amplifier and subwoofer. So I went with front component and back co axial speakers.
Following are the details

Front component – Blaupunkt Blue magic CX 170 – 4200/-
Back Co axial – Kickar speakers – 1500/-
Spacer rings – 4 pcs – 600/-
Wiring and installation – 300/-
Total – 6600/-
Paid – 6500/- 100rs discount

All this done at Law collage road at Blaupunkt authorized dealer (Pune). Final output is very good. Satisfied with sound and installation work.

Congratualations on the upgrade of speakers. However, I am looking at upgrading the Headunit to support USB/AUX input. Might considering visiting Blaupunkt authorized dealer thanks for the pointers.
Did you enquire them about the availability of this upgrade and pricing info if any?

They have Headunits you can choose from them, About price I didn't asked them as I dont want to change it,
By the way which Headunit you have Delphi or Blaupunkt

I called and spoke with Mr. Suhas yesterday, the HU on my punto is the Delphi one . So I may need to first replace the entire HU with Blaupunkt, however, he said he could arrange for the blaupunkt HU would cost around 10K and later add the Aux and USB in.

I am not thinking of other HU since, might spoil the aesthetics.

So, first I need to find someone to buy the old HU and late go for this upgrade. Or, i might settle down with FM Transmitter for now. Got other expenses on the seat covers.

 

even i have upgraded the speakers from stock to after market.
- front: Balupunkt CX170 component
- Rare: Berjiz calypso Component

It was a budget upgrade. At rare doors there was no provision for twiters. So did some jugaad.
Will post the pics soon. In all happy with the output, serves my requirement quite well.
