    For adequate damping, is it required to have the orange and metallic sheets in combination or just one of them? (Because I see orange sheet installed before metallic ones in the third pic)
    How much does it cost(approx) in combination (both orange and metallic) for 4 doors?

    @wokaow- Sorry for the delayed reply. No, there are various methods of damping and you can get damping done as per your budget. The car in this thread being damped belongs to a guy who had ample budget for damping.

    Excellent post - I'm about to get a Linea MJD Active delivered and will be going to upgrade my ICE I am NOT interested in Blue&Me. Have been searching the whole wide world for specific information on what speakers the Lineas does have and what upgrades is possible. THIS is the only place I found this very useful information. Thanx a Heap!!!

    I somehow do not agree that damping can be done in stages. If you want to do it then it should be done completely from inside and outside section of the door and inside portion of the door panel. Only then will you hear some noticeable difference. Blocking the empty holes is useless.

    I will be changing the Car Speakers and have the the following choices.
    Could someone give me some reviews on them

    1> Rockford -->Prime Series
    2> JBL
    3> Hertz-->Dieci series

    Or any that would fall in the same league??

    i'm interested in kickers... which model did u choose and how much did it cost..?

    i saw kickers ES series... Malaysia make..180 w.. but the shop owner.. suggested auditor from focul.. it had an out put of 200w... but which one is better ?
