Pioneer surely has a compatible interface to have the steering control work. But mind you this is only for the volume and folder options. The calling function does not work.

My Pioneer DEH 80 PRS headunit has arrived. Installing it on the car on Saturday if everything works as per plan.

Guys in Delhi you can go to Lajpat Nagar for Damping. I got the system installed in my Linea Classic from there along with Damping and it does improved the quality I didn't even go for the component speakers still the sound and the Bass output is good. Please check Morel speakers. I also checked the component speakers from Morel installed in one of the Baleno and the sound was very clear and doesn't crack on higher volume.

Morel Co axial set of 4 Front and back: rs 11000
    Damping only from outside+ Rings+ installation : rs 3500
    Kenwood stereo: rs 4500

    Discount : 2000 total: rs 17000

Morel component speakers cost rs 11000 for a pair(negotiable).

@Rahul_ka an amp even an entry level one will do justice to those morels you bought. Is that cost for 6.5 coaxials?

Your local shop should be able to provide one. The most popular is connects2 often sold in India. If you are to ask on phone ask for Connects2 steering control for Linea or Fiat for dealer to understand or confirm availability to procure one for you.

Guys what do you suggest for my abarth.my requirements would be tight bass as I listen a lot of English songs, is changing of headunit necessary ? I understand to get the best sound output, its better to change headunit but I'm in a financial crunch.I can spend 20k for now.how do I proceed ?
    Plan 1:
Change the head unit and do the required damping but will miss the bass effect here.

    Plan 2:
Change the components alone and install an amp and a woofer.Heart wants this plan as Im missing the bass already.

Please pour in your suggestions at the earliest as il have to decide soon.

@nitninja, Big bass needs bigger driver surface with higher surface. SPL and SQL wise a perfect compromise is infinity kappa subwoofer with selectable impedance depending on variable amp and subwoofer combination/s. The new headunits are pretty good enough. Just invest in quality CDs or better encoded mp3s upto 256bits if possible. You need lower mid bass then go for Morel Maxximo components and a speaker line input amp. Avoid using RCA convertors. Use standard pioneer or jbl or blaupunkt sub since the budget is an issue. This budget of 20k will help you with l front component and a good 4 channel amp for now which you can use. For rear use morel maxximo coaxials all 6.5" for added lower mid bass but again a 6x9 will help give the extra lows and spl and thump needed for bass loving listeners. You get wooden trays for 6x9s since Punto trays can bend due to weight. Subwoofer can be had for 4.5k onwards. Go for prefab ones instead of adding drivers to box. For spl and added lfe effect you might consider a ported prefab subwoofer. Post here about more suggestions on available models if needed. Headunit is pretty good and unless you are going for a multi dac 3rca active setup with time-alignment the whole upgrade may not be worth the the time money and complexity. Best of Luck!
