Nice then for a good pair of comps you need a good amp too...

I will suggest you to go for

    A basic 2 PRE OUT headunit pio,ken

A good atleast 60 watt rms amp go for 4 channel so you can add your sub or rear speaker

Comps Polk, cervin wega, focal, hertz choice is yours

Please please dont save money on wiring its the soul of a good ICE..

I am located in south delhi you can try some good installers here ..

If you dont go with a sub at this point you will get a good polk db6501, kenwood hu & blaupunkt/cervin wega amp. In your budget

Scosche ..it would be around 2500 ..and do try to go to a good installer. Their are installers in places like karol bgh and lajpat(not all) who will say we will give you discounts but they will compensate the same by cheap quality wiring or they will recomend you some other brand on which they have high margin..try to listen first in your car then only install..where are you planning to by the way ?

Ok best of luck you can pm me if you need any help mate ..see do not try to accomodate everything in your budget you can leave things for later as well prefer quality over everything ..Note :-
A dealer will say in 20k or less will install you a full system but quality i dont know so
leave it like a good compo front,,good rear if you want,,an ok hu and a good amp you will get these easily in your budget..

I have been considering upgrading the ICE since the day I have laid my hands on Punto (more than 4 years) but always restrained due to maybe warranty issues or my family not to keen to upgrade.

I visited Motorsounds, Vashi (Navi Mumbai) yesterday to check for an upgrade and he suggested me the below

Front - Rockford Fosgate (RF) Punch Components = 7850
    Rear - Vibe Black Air Co-axial = 7850
    Amp - Edge 4 Channel = 7250
    Sub-woofer - Vibe CVEN (under seat) = 19500
    Wiring Kit - 1850
    Damping - 1600
    Labour - 1200

    High - Low Converter = 3000

Motorsounds said that the converter may or may not be required depending upon the output they get upon checking during installation.

They further said that I can install a 2-DIN Pioneer/JVC HU and also retain the steering control but that will cost me somewhere around 20K more. He further said it all depends on the level and quality of output desired.

I need your suggestions and inputs on the products suggested and also if the quoted price is fair.

He said for a couple of products they are under guarantee and will be replaced if faulty and others are covered under warranty.

    Price is with Bill

    Hello everyone,

I got my Punto Emotion two months back. I was planning to add a Sub to the stock system. My budget is strictly 10k. Can you please recommend anything in the said budget ?

Is it worth going in for the Blaupunkt GTB 8200 A sctive sub ? Or should i go with a conventional setup of a 4 channel AMP with a 12 inch sub. I would prefer the latter one but i doubt it will fit in my budget. I am based in delhi, so i would be glad if someone can help me out regarding this.

    Thanks in advance.

    Aditya
