@Arjunbhargwa, For a single din buy any HU with 3RCA pre-outs (preferable hi volt of 4 or 5V or more). JVC makes some VFM HUs that meet these criteria. For sub a single 10" Pioneer champion pro or an Infinity Kappa 10". For front components a pair of morel maximo 6.5" (totally worth the money) and co-axials for rear of the same brand preferably.

You can add the rear co-axials later if budget shoots up.

Get any Pioneer / JVC HU (insist bluetooth, A2DP support), believe me it will help you in the long run . Max cost - 8k
    Front - carwin-vega / Polk / Rockford fosgate - components - Max cost - 9k
    Rear - carwin-vega / Polk / Rockford fosgate - cox - Max cost - 4k
Active Sub - Steelmate SW816 - Cost - 7.5k (recently I have installed this, no words to explain)

Hi, @rahulvfx is it underseat subwoofer, the steemate sw816. Also, what amplifier is good, techwise I think the class FD amps are best, but still a tad bit expensive.

The subwoofer looks like active one with possibly class D amp. For a 4channel amp. you can choose any amp that matched your speaker rating. You need a 2ohm capable amp atleast for a 3ohm capable speaker.

Please also look at the mid-budget but great components Pioneer D1720C, again good for SQ setup. I have auditioned Polk and Rockford, but they do not have the sound definition (esp. in vocals range) compared to that of a Morel esp. or an Infinity Kappa component system. The Pioneer D1720C is also a great rather affordable and great VFM speaker package for SQ.

Dampening always helps. But if you can get bulk sheets from AudioSympro it looks like a worth while addon to improve the sound. Even a couple of db sound isolation (from external noises) makes a great difference to sound setup. If you need sound quality a Headunit plays a very important role. Like I said a 4 or 5V pre-out is important for the external amps to recieve a minimally distorted signal.

Your exisiting system could sound better too, if tuned appropriately with perfect high pass and low pass settings that your speakers can perform well within. Besides if one wants further more precision tuning, better to get an SMD DD-1 tool to setup without distortion at the HU and Amp levels. Good headunits and processors come with quality DACs like BurrBrown or Wolfson sometimes more than 2 for multiple channels, like in Pioneer 80prs or Audison Bit one or Alpine H800. That is what differentiates high quality audio from mediocre ones.

The 80prs also comes with active crossovers, meaning you can run them on active signal at source, thereby further producing a cleaner soundstage. It comes at a price though.

I have also heard that its not straightforward to install an amp in punto as it could burn out the battery ?

You can use auto-sensing amplifier or tap into the cigarette battery. Installs are fairly usual for professional installers. IDK, you should be able to find 3 pre-out models with BT for sure. Try JVC or Sony or Kenwood for VFM models.

Pioneer 80prs is 24-27k in Indian market. Much cheaper and reasonable in US market.

Inquired in Mumbai this above model was available a week back.
