No Mutijet engine does not require tappet Adj.
It has HLA (Hydraulic Lash Adjusters) i.e. hydraulic tappet.
Due to HLA , there is zero tappet clearance when engine reaches to its operating temp

Tappet Adjustment means to set Valve Clearnace. In Hydraulic Tappet (HLA), this adjustment is done automatically as the valve clearance increases as per rising of Engine Temp.
When engine reaches its operating temp. HLA creates ZERO VALVE CLEARANCE.
Due to ZERO Valve clearance you get faster Valve operation & lagless performace of valves

Diesel with Kerosene is nightmare for HLA . I have seen premature failure of HLA of DDiS & Quadrajet engines

So Be aware from 3rd class fuel quality,if you get heavy kerosene, then you will faced heavy expenditure
Do you know what is expenses due to kerosene in diesel ?
4 Electronic Injectors + High Pressure Fuel pump + new Fuel rail = Rs.1.5 Lacks approx.

Thanks! for the explanasion and 1.5Lacks!!! ::OO ::OO wow!! thats huge... I generally prefer to refuel from a COCO pump hoping that the contamination is minimal there, its really difficult to find how much contaminated fuel we are getting at a specific pump.

does the multijet engine require to be started everyday like the way it was done in old generation diesel engines. or if its not started for ten days the injectors and tappets may get jam due to frozen diesel ? this may increase the sound from the engine. plz comment.
