    Guys,
A lot has happened in the thread :)
Ok let me make the things clear. Today had been to the SC and there is absolutely no problem.
I guess the reason given by viveksonkhla is absolutely correct.
It is the way we hit the accelerator that makes the difference. If it is heavy foot then there is feeling of turbo charge. But if u do it lightly - light foot - then that feeling is not there but still there is no drop in power whatsoever.

So at least in my case - the issue is closed. I guess it was a needless worry !!!

Pedal to metal is a phrase used to describe thrill drive or spirited driving. FYI, the turbo kicks in at approx 1700rpm and that barely requires 15% of throttle. Rather than trying to read between the lines & interpreting the way you want it, read the whole paragraph. I clearly mentioned that the jerky acceleration is now gone and the "acceleration is smooth". I never said the "acceleration reduced".

Oh and one more thing, in case you noticed, there is a carpet lining between the pedal and the metal. So the pedal never touches the metal :confused

Amol Bhai, appreciate that you are a FIAT lover. Infact, we all are.

Each one of us have hatred towards something or the other, some show it in the open, some dont....
But is it right to influence others to hate whom you hate ? :uh

@tjetdrive, Just saw this thread and thought of replying. I observed the same as Vivek said. generally on Fridays when I wear casual shoes (heavy), I feel this power loss as I may be pressing the peddle hard. This does not happen on weekdays! So yes nothing to worry.

First time, after joining TFI, I found that posts are going off topic. There may be other threads which I might not have gone through. I request all members to control the emotions and ensure that comments does not go personal.

@Mods, If possible, can you remove those posts/words so that we keep the dignity of members and forum.
