    Day 12....The Last day.....

We left the resort at Kalimpong at about 9 am. There was a nice spot at Kalimpong called Dello's. But we didn't go there though we had about one hour spare time. The previous day's fabulous sights were still fresh !

Reached Bagdogra airport at about 12 noon. On the way, saw the bridge / road that goes to Bhutan. Had lunch at airport and boarded the flight. The best views of Himalayas are from the flight ! Majestic. It looks like one side of a diamond necklace ! Don't have good quality pics (only a few mobile pics)

That's about it, for now, till the next trip !!

Thanks Ramesh. Do plan it when you find time. It's an awesome place to explore.

Actually, I just remembered something which I forgot to mention earlier.

During my research there was one item that I noted & planned in my itinerary. Viewing Sunrise from Thambi view point just ahead of Zuluk. This is even more beautiful than viewing it from Tiger Hills, Darjeeling. I can now imagine after seeing those awesome views of Sky & mountain range from the old silk route between Nathula & Zuluk. This requires a night stay at Zuluk where there are some comfortable homestay's. However, when my itinerary went for a toss due to Nathula closure, somewhere it slipped out of my mind & I could not accommodate it in my plan.
