i spoke to them and they dont do dashboard jobs.. He gave me another contact called "Stanley seat covers" but google is not turning up anything useful in blr.
There is one shop however near Uruvashi theather, lalbagh road while coming from mission road (dont remember the name of the shop) they deal with leather upholstry , any idea about them?

Thanks for the name I called them up now and even they dont do dashboards.
I think the whole assembly needs to be removed and all electrical writing so they dont do it I guess. But dashboard with leather upholstry would really look great.

I tried for Punto in many places in Chennai, but no one wanted to do it due to the steering design. Only some good shops like stanley in bangalore do it perfectly by removing the steering. If you find some one who can do it in chennai, do let us know

 

In chennai, there must be stanley boutiques which ll do steering wrap, but the cost is exhorbitant @ 4200 !!

In kerala , i found out a shop in cochin,Vanquish leathers, who ll do the same in pure leather itself at 1600 bucks.. i loved the finish n may do it when i go to cochin next time !! Check out the rest of the pics as well, of them, i loved this pure black, looks like OEM.

Getting a perfect leather wrap for Punto's steering wheel is a very tedious and time consuming job - It took more than 2 hours of work to get it right on my car, but the result was worth every minute’s effort they took.

@GP Freak and naveen: there is one alternative - drive down to bangalore and get it done

@Varun: The work by Vanquish leathers looks top notch. Happy to see that Kerala is fast becoming a hot bed for car modification. In Team-Bhp, I do see lot of stunning looking mod jobs from Kerala. Places like R&T, Petes, Ostler and many more are adding a much needed professional touch to the automobile scene in Kerala.

OT: I also saw some awesome airbrush works done by different places at thiruvanathapuram. Looks really top notch and professional.

Btw, i read somewhere that pensee or stanley do steering cover for fiats with art leather for around 1000 bucks
