Sometimes engine wouldn’t start on the first crank...

  1. Off late noticed this issue, Engine wouldn’t start on the first crank if I‘ve driven car for some KMs (more than 5KMs or long journey I guess). But engine would mostly start with the second crank. This behavior is not consistent. Never have a problem while starting the engine after cold start with the first crank. Initially I thought it as a issue with battery and local vendor said that battery is not in the best of condition but if battery had a issue then it should happen every time after cold start. No?

Punto 1.2 Petrol, 27 months old.
So far 13300 KMs and all 3 free services done. 2K KMs since last service.

    Any suggestions?

Swap your battery with another one of the same brand & rating i.e 12v 44Ah and check just to cross check and rule out battery problem.
