True in current context post split with Tata. I have owned a santro for may years and only time it visited a service center was for regular servicing. But again, that's my personal experience with Hyundai. There are other people who were not as fortunate as me. Also, in our 7+ years of ownership of Santro, the service costs increased many fold. Fiat may be cheaper in terms of maintenance costs however it is still miles away from being a fuss free experience of ownership. Just hope that the new management in India goes extra mile in ensuring a good QC.
