    He brake-tested a speeding truck, so it could have ended very badly since a stalled car won't steer and brake as well as one under it's own power. But I agree that thread titles should not convey opinions much in the same way as news reporting should not (if only our media did the same).

    Hey Rahul, im glad that you could pull over your car to safe lane.

    Well as far as you were driving and suddenly car stalls mean yor altornatar must have failed. Am i right? I know it must be a scariest part but its rally grat that nothing unpleasent happened.

  9. Alternator failing....sounds so familiar and experienced...best of luck with the service if thats the case...my issue only got resolved when i went forward and spoke to enrico on the factory meet day!

    Well sorry if the title scared anyone but that's how I felt.
    Now what actually happened ...
    Well it seems the fuel pump burned and conked off and the fuel gauge which is supposedly a part of the same assembly never indicated to me that I've run out of fuel.
    The service center Fiat expert casually told me " oh this is the third case like this "
    Anyway now the perennial Fiat hassle ...
    Spare parts not available.
    @ half clutch ... yes you are right...opp Times of India
