I attempted to do this because the replaced glove box lid looked like a duplicate one. Poor finish, poor quality at Rs. 850/. I then thought, why not I repair the broken one and use it. Tools: All you need is a plier and a piece of cable. Heat one of the ends of the cable to make two holes on either sides of the broken spring lock. Bent the cable to U shape, pass it through the two holes you made earlier. Bend the edges of the cable to lock the spring as shown above, by using a plier. You are done. Fix the glove box lid back in place.
