Fiat India set for Raid De Himalaya 2011 challenge across HP and Jammu Kashmir

The Raid De Himalaya 2011 which is to get off to a start today will have team Fiat India set out on a Fiat Punto 90HP multijet which is ready to take to the rocky terrains of the Himalayas. Fiat India drivers are eagerly awaiting tackling the rough and rock strewn Himachal Pradesh and Jammu Kashmir roads. Two skilled drivers Mr. Pavan Choudhary and Mr. Nitin Anand will be rally driver and captain respectively during the course of the adventure.
Rally Driver Pawan Choudhary has taken part in a number of such events and has been a winner at desert Storm 2009. Navigator Nitin Anand too is a professional rallyist and has come first at last year's Raid De Himalaya and third at the Desert Storm events 2011, and is ready to take on the new challenge that heads up to Suru Valley in Ladakh region. The race will end at Srinagar and lasts 10 days.

Raid De Himalaya is a10 day event where a total of 291 participants will traverse across 2000 kms. Being organized by Himalayan Motorsports Association the rally will be conducted according to stringent rules laid down by International Sporting Code of FIA and national Competition Rules.

So FIAT is pulling sox. good Advtz on TV and news papers, separate showrooms, cafes, various programs (doctors/training ITI etc) and now participation in 'Raid the Himalayas'.
Fiat officials should put bunch of photos on website and put as part of Advt in newspapers.
