    Hi Guys,

I have seen Punto yesterday. The tail lights and front lights were in black. I was so impressed with that ::OO . Would like to get it on my ride also.
But first please let me know:

    1. I sit legal under traffic rules
    2. Will it affect the front head lamps light
    3. What will be cost?

    Thanks
    Gaurav

I think you are talking of the one in which the owner has covered the headlights and tail lights with black paper (you are not talking of smoked headlamps and tail lights, right?).
I've seen one i20 as well recently and I get :irked to see people doing this to their rides. Earlier people used to do this to bikes.

Please, that spoils the look although I know it is subjective but I still advise you not to do that. ::V

    1. I do not believe it is legal.
    2. I've not seen one at night but considering the fact that it is black and opaque, I do not think any light would pass this black sheet. This looks similar to the sheet people use to blacken the B-pillars.
    3. No idea of cost but should be cheap.

There are many ways of doing that, cheaper way is using a film. There are tint sprayers are available I have seen a similar product in Amazon web site. But again that are costly and requires some expertise. DIY may results in a disaster. For the rear indicator cluster, a similar product was located in the website, which was tinted LED tail lamps. But the cost was on the high side.

Guys, smoking the headlights and tail lights is a different thing.
I am talking of covering the lights with almost opaque black paper like sheet(like the one Fiat has used in your cars to blacken the B-pillars). :boxer Qualifies for Weird and Wacky mod job any day with 10 star rating.

Wrapping the head and tail lamp with the opaque ppr would end up reducing you beam of light man.. would look like a zero watt bulb man
