Live2dream - Do you have any plastic/glass rattle noise inside the car? I am told the 2012 models have an issue. I am quite annoyed with every little bump creating a rattle inside. Also, what brand of tyres do you have? I got Goodyears and they are extremely noisy.

 

@relativity..for the past few days a new rattle has cropped up, though it doesnot occur always..couldnot find the exact location, but comes from somewhere near the front windshield, probably fromthe rear view mirror..no other rattles. Tyres are good year gt3 same as yours., i always drive with the music on..havent been much of a botheration till now..where exactly are the rattles coming from in your car

 

My driver's side door rattles a lot and I can feel all the platic rattle just a little bit. The ride quality isn't very good either.

 

@relativity..Better take it to vst abt the rattles. Have you checked the tyre pressure for the ride quality. I have put 30 psi on all the tyres and the ride quality is fine although not super absorbent. By the way how many kms has your punto done?

 

I have just clocked 1000 km till now as my office is just 5 km from my home.
I guess my running would be restricted to about 1K a month. A lot of people here including rmjin, Teky etc advised against VST. They have suggested Tafe. I will try to take it there and see what is there diagnosis.
I reduced the tyre pressure from 32 to 30 but the ride quality isn't any better.

my emotion is also 2012 model,no sound observed from left door to m.doing its duty superbly,yesterday i went to mumbai via expressway drove steady 80/h got a super 23.4kms/ltr milage with ac always on.so dont think or doubt it just enjoy & drive.

Even mine has done 3100km , no rattles from anywhere except a very faint one from somewhere near rear view mirrors occasionaly.driving superbly..
