Live2dream, obviously if you are staying in 2nd gear & below 20-30 km/hr, it has to be bumper 2 bumper traffic. So let's get dispense with accelerator use at all here. The car will keep gliding@20km/hr without any accelerator job. If you need to be@standstill, press clutch & apply brakes. Sure you have to shift down to 1st now being@standstill. when you are out of b2b traffic in 2nd gear, use accelerator and shift to 3rd gear as applicable. Since there is lot more torque in diesels, you can sustain at lower speeds being in comparatively higher gear. More technical term is Rev. matching in Teky's books & i thank him for this. I would also rather prefer to term it as getting into the grooves of MJD. They are very different drive & come at a surprise for lots of people like you & me who have not only driven extensively but also vastly different vehicles, still it happens, no doubt about it. They are amazing actually!!

Congrats for the car. The negatives that you mentioned will disappear soon and it will have only positives.
What you mentioned about IIT campus is true. Living in a forest in the heart of city is great. The car is rock solid and stable like the banyan trees inside the campus.
BNW is never fading colour.

Never felt that emotional connect with anyother brand in india, maybe a tata safari,or the skoda octavia old one..some cars have soul
