Punto GC is being raised

Guys,

Got this from reliable sources. The Punto is being raised by 16mm and the kits shall be available with the Service Centres begin Sept 2010. Linea is also being raised but no concrete info.

The new puntos from Sept on would be built higher.

 

That is not good for high speed stability...!!!
good for city though..

Let us see how the effects are reported befoe we take the plunge. In any case I can get the kit removed if the high speed stability becomes a bother.

 

Thats great news for me.
In Kerala we have no roads to attain high speeds. We have torture tracks, craters, mountains, lakes etc instead of roads. :A
I have scraped the underbelly many times. :cry: Is it a kit to be added/replaced or any suspension adjustment?

 

I don't think it's gonna happen. Why fix a thing if it's not broken.
GC is good for me in last 16 k kms the underbelly has touched 3-4 times only that too not on speed breakers but on car breakers.

 

Yeah we desperately need this here. Ever since I have switched to Punto not a day has passed with out scraping somewhere.
