My Punto has done 156000 kms and now it makse squeaking moises as soon it starts moving. Noise is like somebody aching from pain.
Noises are in front right side. I have got front shocker and lower arm replaced with original parts fro 99rom. But zero effect.
Should engine mounts be checked? How?
Has naybody seen this in his car?
    Please help.

Have you changed the engine mounts earlier any time. If you don't have excessive vibrations, and have changed them around say two years earlier, don't feel vibrations in steering at idle, this might not be the case. If you haven't changed them, them get all the three mounts changed.
I changed the mounts on preventive measures, I instantly felt the reduction in steering vibrations, was so happy that I called my mechanic immediately to give him the feedback.
Did you check the brake pads.
Has your car been in water/mud for a long time.

    Thanks,
No. I did not change or check engine mounts yet.
    Brake pads recently changed.
Although car was not in mud or water but proper service and underwashing was done at an interval of 3 years.
    Looks like something moving dry.
I will visit mechanic tomorrow with engine mount question.
Living at a small town and experts are not available here.

Moving steering in any direction also causes creeking noise.

When were the front strut mounts changed last time. Also the ball joints. The ball joints typically last for around four years.

Yesterday went to my mechanic. He drove and listened the noises and asked for what all I have done so far for this noise problem.
He picked two old balancing link rods from his junk. Cut each and got welded each piece with working end and replaced existing aftermarket link rod that was put when bushes in lower control arm were changed. This was done only on right side.
This simple but unique solution removed the all diturbing body noises. Screenshot 2023-05-02 at 19-37-37 Fiat Grande Punto Anti roll bar Link rod & Crossrail.png
Only one end of link rods get kaput and other remains functional. I hope this jugaad will run for 6-7 months or more as per mechanic.
I will get such 3-4 link rods prepared and keep in car to be used in case of faliure.

Great jugad costed only Rs.350/- with labour cost. Genuine link rod costs Rs.1612/- each piec.

Good to know that the issue is sorted.
Will recommend to get the welded link rods changed immediately with the Sona Mandira aftermarket brand. Costs around 850 to 900 per pair. Lasts 2 to 3 years easily. You can also search them on boodmo, but the local spares shop sell them cheaper than boodmo.

I will advise to get it changed for both front suspension. Your steering will become further smooth. They cost around 2K a piece.
