Punto Active Central Locking

Please ask him if they have any additional beeper sounds - I remember one TFI member posting about the beeper sound in a Punto AD. That was a lovely beep.

 

Nope , it doesnt. That's a good feature you have in your CL. I guess I will also have to tell the AUTOCOP guy about this when he visits me on Saturday!

The Service Engineer came to my house yesterday! Apparently the socket/clip of which connects the AUTOCOP to the beeper has gone bad. And there are no spares clips available so he had to replace the Beeper/Siren. Since the Clips weren't there he connected the AUTOCOP to the siren by cutting the the wires and joining them with tapes.
He also confirmed that there are no other beeper sounds available. And about the ignition auto lock he re iterated that this functionality was available in the earlier batches of FT-1150 but they have removed it now!.

Hello Guys,This is my first post apart from Introduction post.I went through all the discussion about Ignition autolock,but confirmed from Fiat thrice and the answer is NO!!Coming to the price , according to Fiat the autolock kit is so costly because of Actuators.Punto models cannot use the Actuators produced directly from Autocop it seems,hence they get imported from Brazil.That's the reason of high cost.I got mine fitted for 8.5k from Concorde,Bangalore. And works fine
Those who are using crosslink wheels,Is it working fine?

 

Guys, I have been struggling to get the OEM CL for my Active MJD since the past 5 months. I have registered complaints on the helpline number, sent many mails to Fiat India, had many arguments with the dealer, but still not able to get it for my car. On top of that the dealer tells me that there are no trained personnel in the dealership to install CL on a Punto Active and if installed might screw up the ignition system. Fiat India replies to my mails saying that they are awaiting road permits to despatch the CL for me (whatever that means!). Fiat India has still not answered my query as to who would install the CL on my car as the dealer says that it doesn't have trained personnel to install the same on my Punto. If I had known these issues prior to making the purchase, I would have never gone for the punto. It's been five months and I dont see a solution coming in the next 5 months.

Advice solicited.

first let us know where are you from and who is the dealer you are trying to contact? AFAIK, CL is available here @ bangalore.
