Punto Active Central Locking

First AFAIK you cannot fit central locking in new punto active as they dont have acutators in the car and you cannot put acutators in the car which comes with central locking
Second for warranty i think as long as wires are not cut it wont void the warranty but i am not sure about it and have not checked with Tass

 

u dont loose the warranty as long as u dont cut any wires its simple... And getting central locking on a Punto Active is damn difficult man.

 

now my central locking is not working properly while all the gates are getting locked/unlocked but driver side gate is not getting locked/unlocked from remote i have to lock it mannualy by key. spoke to comany technician will go to him on monday probably.

 

now i am happy for having bought Dynamic over Active,when i actually finalised on getting the Active.Some more better things in dynamic for the extra 35k spent.
1.Bigger MID,shows alot of info in power with the one in emotion
2.silver painted centre console
3.fabric inserts on the doors
4.rear power windows.
and manual central locking.now fixing a remote is nothing.even FIAT gives an approved kit for 4000 bucks.

 

central locking has been fixed there was loose connection now working fine.

 

I also have the Active model and its Nov 2009 model. How to confirm, if it has actuators fitted from the company? Its almost one year for Punto's launch and we don't have the cental lock for Active. If the sales person had informed me correctly, I would have never bought this model. I would have preferred going for a higher version. Fiat is still keeping mum on the availability of the CL.

 

Only way to check is open the door pad and see inside the gate on right hand side if you can see some pins than cl can be fitted.

I have a November 2009 model Punto. Some of the members of Fiat Punto
group advised me that my car should have factory installed actuators. The
cars manufactured after Nov 2009 do not have them.

Is this true?

Hello Mohit,

The Active variant of Punto does not come with actuators. We are developing a central lock system for the Active variant as an accessory and should be available shortly.

Look Ma ! I got CENTRAL LOCKING on my ACTIVE

today I finally took the plunge and got a autocop installed on my active . I spent close to 15 minutes just playing with it ... lock .. unlock lock .. unlock lock .. unlock lock .. unlock lock .. unlock lock .. unlock lock .. unlock lock .. unlock ...... :evilsmile :evilsmile :evilsmile :evilsmile :evilsmile :evilsmile :evilsmile :evilsmile

total time taken : 6 hours

done at : bhandari auto : JM Road Pune

Mr Rajesh Bhandari was very courteous , talked a lot to him , told him about our visit to the fiat factory and also showed him our T shirt .. he was excited to hear al about it . next mod .. internal FM antena which will be done in a few weeks cuz I managed to break my last one while putting on the car cover so don't want an external one

I have very close relation with Bhandari Auto . Relations from 1990

I live at Ahmednagar (120 KM away from Pune) I never put a single accessory from my hometown

Car Accessories dealer of my hometown are crooks & they are masters in dealing Duplicate Brands
So Whenever I buy new car,I stricly visit them & get all desired accessories.

Mr.Vikas Bhandari & Mr.Sachin Bhandari are very courtious & rates are reasonable.

You can give them my referance in 2nd visit to them.
