14.1 Mileage on a highway..., is it not less????
Recently i did trip of 800 KMs the average i got in MJD is 17.8 KMPL.
Speed maintained is 100-120 Km/hr .
May be if i maintained 90 , i would have got around 20 - 22 KMPL.
As 1.2 delivers less mileage than MJD's i think 14.1 looks OK . It all depends on maintaining speed levels.
I never got an average above 14-16kmpl on highways and 13-14kmpl in city with my MJD. I might churn out few more kmspl if I change my driving style, but I see no fun in doing so.
Bumping this thread. I am planning for a hyderabad trip this week. Any idea about the latest condition of NH-9? I guess all work would have been completed by now. Last time i traveled was in May12, so its quite a gap.
Awesome toll road (done this route in Feb)
Solapur to Hyd,(Done this route on 19th Apr Night journey )
Average road, beaware of potholes especially in maharashtra section.
In karnatakae most of the patch work have been done.
i would say opt for day journey though the roads are in average condition.
Thanks ganges for a quick reply!
