The procedure is to open the headlamps and paint it. Opening the headlamp is a risky business as the glue which sticks it is extremely hard to part with in the case of Linea/Punto unlike Maruti vehicles which is much easier. The glue is removed by a heated gun at a specific temperature which allows it to melt. If the temperature is higher then the glass will develop a crack. So i had to change the left headlamp in the process.

Advantages is that the car looks retro and the downsides is that moisture accumulates in the event of water service.
    The damages are 3k.

Nimish so the total costing of tires and alloys is Rs. 58k.

Here in UK I am planning to get that Abarth Scorpion Alloy wheels for me and which costs me for Rs. 28000 and they are with Pirelli 215 40 section tires. If I want to buy it with tires then the price will be Rs. 42k.

Now the question is to carry those alloys to India. Can someone please let me know the cheapest way to bring those alloys in India. Please let me know custom duty on those alloys.

try to bring down the alloys. Tires you can get it here. Is it 17 inch. In that case ask for spigot rings. Tires stick on to 215/45 and dont go for 40. I have no idea about the customs cost.

    Hi Nimish,
Based on your Punto's picture, I bought the Sparco Pedal Sets from Carsingh. But the workshop guy says, it needs to be fixed with drills and can not fix it directly. Is it so ? I dont want to drill the existing pedals. How did you installed it ? if you can share, it will be helpful.
    Thanks
    Krish

You will have to drill the pedals to install any after market pedal. Thats not an issue the only thing is that they will remove the rubber cladding the existing pedal and drill 2 holes on each pedal and it gets into the scene. Go ahead a lot of us have done it. It will enhance the interior instantly.
