@Deepak Yes it is def softer than stock appolo/jk etc. But I dont feel it as soft as Michelin which my friends has in his car. P3ST(or Yoko DB) is def. a superb tyre for those who want a luxury drive. Good for city or highways/expressways. But I am always afraid of using it on anywhere else.

Ya I was talking to the dealer from which I bought tires for my car, he also rated Yokohama Earth 1 highly. You can give them a try. I think many of us have those tires.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions and advise. I have gone with P3ST.
Have done a highway trip. The tyres are really super silient. Only on certain thar road i hear the road noise inside cabin.
Special thanjs to @dhanas for enabling Michelin referral program.

@Esakki Sundar, that's a wonderful price for P3ST. Please let us know the warranty clause as well on the new tyres.

After the recent experience on one of the tyres on my car, I have almost decided that one of the primary criteria for me when shortlisting the tyres has to be unconditional warranty.

    Cheers,
    Pradeep.

@PradeepM, it comes with 3 yrs manufacturing defect.
Fyi, Falken comes with 2yrs unconditional. Hankook comes with 2 yrs unconditional but a new tyre replaced at 50% if something happens

I have been reading / hearing very good ownership feedback about continental MC5. Please check.

    Cheers,

@PradeepM Initially I was skeptical about MC5 due to lack of reviews from existing uesrs, but now after driving it for 17K Kms approx, I am somewhat feeling confident about taking it to any kind of road surface or be it a hard cornering as asked by @Tornado .

Does that mean CM5 are better than P3ST for hard cornering?

Does upsizing (increase in width by 10 mm) leads to decrease in pickup during 1st & second gear?
