    Hi Friends,

Both of these tyres are of 195/60R15 88V. Price is also same.

Which one is recommended? MY02 is new as compared to GIII.

    Please suggest

Excellent... I own a Punto 90HP and in same dilemma...

I am planning for Potenza G3, let's see what TFI folks recommend.

  3. Potenza g3 is excellent cheap performance tyres, meaning a perfect balance of comfort, braking on wet and dry road.Have used this setup in my swift for 33k kms, but this is a soft tyre and had quiet a few punctures.
The noise is higher and yes even music, ac cant musk it.
No idea about My02 though some people who have experience with this can share some feedback.
Btw have you considered yokos, michs, Pirelli??

Oh, it looked so in the pictures, but wanted a review from someone who has used it.

I guess I shall upgrade it to Bridgestone MY02 coz am scared about the sidewalls of Michellin...

    Thanks for the info.

    Cheers :)

  5. Have used michelin xm1+ in swift and santro and honestly it is the best that money can buy.
Awesome grip on every possible road, negligible road noise, good life etc.
Unluckily for us xm2 is not available in oem specs, so we are left with primary lc only which is a very soft tyre.

Yes, I did take a look at it when I had been to Madhus, considering the road conditions out here, its better to be safe than worry.

My vote for Bridgestone MY02 as I have heard good reviews from a few TFI folks :)

  7. Whats your take on apollo accelere? ? I am quiet satisfied with them. Its performance is 70% of xm1+.
It is designed by michelin team.
Is there any better tyre from apollo stable?

I have Apollo Acelers on my santro. I wish I had got it on my Punto too, I wouldn't have considered changing tyres at all.

I am happy with the performance of Acelers, though it isn't outstanding but does the duty well.

    Apart from Acelers, there is

    1. Apollo amazer - Haven't heard much of these tyres, seen them on a lot of cabs so I guess they are built to last.

    2. Alnac 4G - high performance tyres for luxury cars which can sustain at 270 kmph. Not sure if they manufacture it for Punto's or Linea's size. Their website doesn't reflect with this information yet. Read about these on overdrive

    Cheers :)

Potenza GIII goes noisy as hell after 15K kms.
I have used it for 47K kms on my My Previous Car,they are grippy but noisy.
In fact all tyres with a Directional pattern will be noisy.
